T-Shirt Pillow

T-shirt re-purposed as a pillow!
When my daughter outgrew this adorable embroidered t-shirt, I decided I didn't want to just pack it away, I wanted to find a way to reuse it! I had considered framing it for an art piece in her room, but ultimately decided to make it into a pillow for her couch.

It is a very simple craft to make, you only need these supplies:

T-shirt
needle and thread (to match shirt)
fiberfill (or other pillow stuffing material of your choice)

I decided to keep the cuffs exposed on this pillow, so I stitched the sleeves and neckline inside the cuff, so that they would still be open when the pillow was stuffed.

I then stuffed the shirt from the sleeves to the bottom hem. This can be a little tricky if your fill tends to become lumpy.

Last I stitched up the bottom of the shirt just above the hem. Note: if your shirt is wrinkled, be sure to iron it before you stuff it, and the fill won't be enough to pull out the wrinkles.
